The garden did well this year despite the weather and I was hiking and backpacking as much as possible. We canned 24 pints of pizza sauce thanks to my moms organic Roma's. We did 12 jars of dill relish thanks to Twin Brooks farms Kirby cucumbers which also provided us with 20 or so jars of bread and butter pickles. I will be making Red Raspberry jam from the abundant season we had in our Raspberry patch. The heirloom tomatoes were and still are amazing as well as the Asian Cucumbers, Italian Peppers, and Tomatillos. The Thai and Italian basil have also done well. We have a good crop of Thai Peppers and Serrano Peppers. I checked the jelly tree today (Quince Tree) about another week or so to go and it will be ready to harvest for fall jelly and chutney.
Beautiful abundant harvest this year... These were Chris' babies.
Asian Long Bean we did both red and green. The abundance of these were frozen.
Zinnia's in the picking garden.
No garden is complete without Sunflowers.
