Gotland

1 lb of handspun gotland.... NOW ideas, ideas, ideas, I am drawn to E.Z's pi so I am thinking not lace, but garter stitch which was the first pie  are square E.Z made the pattern is in knitting around.  I am thinking garter as in not much counting being that I have so many children calling my name it is hard to sit with out hearing MOM can you.....

Here is some of what has been going on. Aslan my Romney and his girls are together, he is a happy boy as well as Wellington my Merino ram. !/2 lb. of Gotland spun. John John telling me the jelly tree is almost ready for harvest. Fall is around the corner and very welcome, fall is truly one of my favorite time of the year.

Silk & Art

Here is my new book.  It is awesome!!!!A Silk Workers Notebook by Cheryl Kolander.  What a beautiful book full of fabric plates, incredible artwork, and great history, also the practical stuff spinning ,weaving, fabric care,and moth growing.  Here is some knitting.Two socks and yes I have started the other sock... after all what good is one sock" says John John who can't wait to wear his new socks this fall.
